David Steiner, MD - Medical Director
David Steiner, MD trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY with a subsequent Fellowship at the acclaimed Montefiore Headache Center and Pain Management. Dr. Steiner is Chief of Neurology at Peninsula Hospital Center, Medical Director of their Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Unit (one of only 5 in all of New York City) and is the Director of their Stroke Center that he founded.
Dr. Steiner is head of the local Parkinson’s Chapter and has widely lectured on topics of headache, pain management, stroke and general neurology in addition to speaking for the local epilepsy society.


Dr. Allan Rothpearl - Lead Radiologist
Dr. Rothpearl trained at Columbia University, went on to complete Medical school at SUNY at Stonybrook, did his Radiology training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center serving as Chief Resident in his final year and went on to do Fellowship in MRI imaging including neuroradiology and  musculoskeletal and abdominal MRI imaging at Columbia University.  [we should drop the picture from all other doctors besides me - these aren't them, anyway]

Dr. Rothpearl has some 31 publications in the areas of radiology, MRI and teleradiology. He has served on the Executive Advisory Board, for Solutions for Healthcare Information, Networking, and Education (SunSHINE). 2004-present. He has served as Statistical Reviewer, Biological Psychiatry, 1982-1984, Special Reviewer, Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1980 and Special Reviewer, Psychological Reports, 1980. He has worked on teleradiology implementation including networking and server implementation, computer construction and installation, implementation of server dictation system for radiology, website and e-mail implementation, magnetic resonance urography; development of computer teaching aids for radiology; computer applications in clinical research; statistical modeling; and experimental design, analysis of clinical and laboratory investigations, medical writing.

Prior to joining Village Open MRI, Dr. Rothpearl has worked with Bethpage Radiology and MRI as the Associated Director of MRI, at New York Flushing Hospital Medical Center as an attending Radiologist, at Elmont Open MRI diagonistc Center and Central Diagonstic Imaging as the Medical Director. He founded and still serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Complete Radiology Rading Services, PLLC in Westbury, NY and is the Director and CEO of Jericho Specialty Imaging in New Hyde Park, NY.


Dr. Gurmeet S Dhillon - Neuroradiology
Dr. Dhillon trained at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario - did his internship in Diagnostic Radiology at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, hi Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Queen's University and his Fellowship in Neuroradiology at University of Florida at Shands Hospital and at University of Toronto. He is Board certified in Radiology, has specialty certification in Neuroradiology and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Canada.

Dr. Dhillon is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, a member of the American Society of Spine Radiology, a member of the Radiology Society of North America, a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, A member of the Canada Medical Association and a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Dr. Dhillon has served as the Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology at the University of Ottawa, Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology at Allegheny University of Health Sciences and Assistant Professor Radiology at eh University of Mississippi Medical Center in addition to the Director of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Neuroradiology and Director of MRI. He received the University of Mississippi Medical School Radiological Sciences Teaching Award  and as rated one of the Best Doctors in America. Prior to joining Village Open MRI Dr. Dhillon has been a radiologist at Jericho Specialty Imaging and serves as Medical Director for ProScan Imaging of Buffalo.


Dr. David R. Ludwig - Radiologist
Dr. Ludwig trained at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine where he also completed his Internship, did his Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at both SUNY Buffalo and Brown University School of Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital - he was then fellowship trained at SUNY Buffalo and Roswell Park Memorial Cancer Institute in the Department of Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Ludwig had had multiple publications, he is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiology Society of North America, the American Roetgen Ray Society, the Society of Nuclear Medicine and the Society of of Cardiovascular Computer Tomography. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Ludwig is the Director of Oncology PET Services at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Director of the Cardiac CTA Program at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, he served on the Advisory Board of the Cardiac CTA Program of Western New York, Physician Advisory Committee for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the Radiation Safety Officer for the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the Lead Radiologist for Mammography at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, the Treasurer and then Secretary of the Buffalo Radiology Society. Prior to working for Village Open MRI Dr. Ludwig has worked for Millard Fillmore Hospitals in Amherst, NY, Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY, Greater Amherst Imaging in Amherst, NY as the Medical Director and still works for Open MRI of Niagara Falls as the Medical Director and for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center  as Director of Coronary CTA Services, Director of Oncology PET Services and as an Active Staff Radiologist.
